Guitar Pro App Reviews

Guitar Pro; dont you modify me!

An app that informs musicians on different songs and clearly shows how to play them. However, the possibility to make changes and to create melodies is annihilated…

Bull

Total bull$(-)!+. Paid for it only to realize that you cant create any tabs or anything on this app! Its only for reading GP files. I want my money back

Bullk 2

waste of money

Great companion app

It works great on the iPhone in situations where you dont have a lot of space. But on the iPad it works just perfect. Notes are easy to read, and the ability to follow with the songs cadence is great.

No custom tunings.

Claims you can enter custom tunings yet always refreshes to a bizarre wacky tuning unknown tuning. The tuning list doesnt go past drop b so if you plan to right stuff in lower tunings forget about it.

Great App!

Easy to use, does everything I need it to do from practicing anytime, anywhere. Awesome! Love it!

Notepad

As I play multiple instruments, this app is great and makes things a lot easier, tho it lacks in the drums. As Im not always home I cant use the PC gp6 to save everything I want, itd be nice to see them add drums to the notepad in the near future :)

Great

I dont know why people say it complicated to import tab because its pretty simple in my opinion! I just downloaded it and i really love it already it will be great to have this iPad version when I cant have my computer or to lazy to open it haha ;)

Almost perfect!

This app is fantastic for the writing musician! I love the fact that you can figure out the exact tempo, types of notes, time signature, 6,7, or 8 strings, and that the app is so well put together. There is only a couple things I would like to see to make this app the ultimate app. I HIGHLY recommend that when your writing the tab, you can also see the sheet music as well, or vice versa. So that the musician who learns in tab can see sheet music, and the musician who learns in sheet music can see tab. I ALSO highly recommend that the designer implements multitrack writing. This would make it so much easier for a musician who plays multiple instruments would find it so much easier to write and record. I hope these features get implemented soon! John.

Best tab for learning songs

Love it!!!! So easy to use

Notepad+

Would like to write drums and have multiple tracks in the notepad. Thank you very much for the great app.

Must have for musicians

Having an app to keep a bunch of musical tabs is pretty usefull if you arent always in contact with your computer. Also the biggest plus is the notepad to write things anytime!

Need a fix

The app is great but the sound is not working...

Moret helpful app out there

Woods flawlessly! Really Worth the price

Very angry

Website refuses to email my inbox with the confirmation code. So basically Im stuck with an 8 dollar program that does nothing. If the app was a physical being, Id punch its teeth right out of its head. Thieves. Youre welcome for my money!

Not Worth It At All

This app doesnt allow you to edit any file you download, which is horrible in case you want to continue writing something you started on your computer. It cant even be used to compose new music, because it doesnt allow you to have multiple tracks when you start a new file, and you need to manually add bar lines at the end of each bar. So overall it is very annoying to work with.

Great app

Works awesome on iPad & the Mac. Easy to use and powerful.

Not what you expect.

This app is for the most part alright for writing riffs on the go, other wise its not worth the money. They need to expand so you can have more instruments as opposed to one guitar. Even when you export to continue your song on the computer it glitches out.

Good for playback

But for the editing it is not what you need.

Not bad, but needs multitrack notepad

This app works quite well, and the ease of the notepad is enjoyable. However a multitrack notepad is essential for this app to be great.
